Editorial policy
Golden Food Journal aims to make food information clearer without making it sound more certain than it is. We distinguish a package claim from what that wording establishes, and we correct the record when our work falls short.
Accuracy and context
We check wording, explain the context needed to understand a claim, and avoid presenting a comparison as proof that one choice suits everyone. If a point depends on a particular product, place or circumstance, we say so. Readers should not treat our articles as professional medical or dietary advice.
Independence
Editorial decisions and conclusions are made for readers, not shaped by a partner’s preferred message. A commercial relationship does not buy a favourable assessment, and we do not imply that a product has been independently tested when it has not.
Corrections
If you find a factual error or unclear passage, contact us with the article and the specific point. We review credible corrections and update material when warranted; a correction should make the changed information clear rather than quietly obscure it.
Partnerships and illustrations
Paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly identified as such and kept distinct from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when an image is illustrative rather than a documentary depiction, it should not be read as evidence of a real product or event.
A label is a claim, not a verdict
We look at the wording, the context and the trade-offs. A confident phrase on a packet does not settle what is best for every table.
